A warm note from our first Faculty in MCA Department (2001)

                         Dr. Prasad Joseph Cheeran (PJC)

Hai
My dear students/friends of first batch of MCA in UCC and other Junior Batch students,

I can never forget UCC MCA Gang. A lot of memories coming up in my mind. As all of you knew, I started my career in UCC with you.

I thankfully remember your cooperation and support and initiative in our MCA Department. I was unable to attend Marriage function of Anumodh, and Alumni Day due to unavoidable situations. Hope I can meet in future.

Do not forget to inform me the major functions happening in your life. If I get a chance, definitely I will attend such sessions.

Bye
Your Prasad Sir

Its time for a review. We just finished 10 years!!!

Yes!!! 10!!! Thats magical. We never knew time flies so swiftly. We never knew what we will become in future. We were the UCCMCAGANG!!! and we still are!!!

And thus we are here celebrating our 10 years of togatherness. Celebrating the happy moments we shared, celebrating the small quarrels we had, celebrating the big prizes we won and small defeats we got. I am refreshed with the very thought of those times.

Though we had real fun during our classes, but we got pure freedom during our get-togethers. First I remember was the Christmas celebration of 2001. We had gathered in the classroom with Mathew Koshy sir as the chief guest. We had some fun, cakes and jokes.

Onam celebrations, Christmas celebraions, Association meetings, Edit 2003, Neural Networks seminar, Inter-collegiate competitions, late night preparations for exams, little fights for the"happy birthday" and what not.... wowwwwww!!!!!!!! It was an evetfull, memorable journey. I would say "One of the happiest journies of my life".

Our unity was projected during the strikes and the events. I hope you all remember the half day strike(HOD, sir, lab, get-out ; i hope you got the point.. he hee) and HODs notice not to enter classes for the day. Edit 2003 brought up our real potential. We proved that co-operation can do wonders.

Loads of love to all my friends out there who made this journey memorable. I want to hear from you too.

Return of the blogger!!!

Dear All,
Apologies for being silent for this long. All this time I longed to talk to you, but the right time is now. So what's news? From my side, its all going good. Challenges of life is keeps me going. Work is good, family is good. My son, Ryne, has started walking. He is 10 months old now. Apart from work, he extracts most of my time. Its good to be with kids. A little patience will help to enjoy their company best. I love that.

Sorry I forgot the saying "Keep the donkey at the end" and started talking about myself. We have news from Rahul and Nikki. Rahul would already have called all of you and conveyed that he along with his family is travelling to Canada. Wish you good luck bro. We will miss you and your PJs during our gatherings. Who will deliver the "tharas" now? Everyone, one position is open, any takers? And the usual 'kalyanaramans' team will miss you but we will adjust, dont you worry.
Nikhil, I hope, is all set and ready for the new phase of life. Good luck buddy.
Mahesh and Mira is getting ready for the next phase. Our wishes and prayers with you.

I shall come back soon with more detils and discussions. Keep in touch. Its good to be togather, though we are far. And for your information, its been 10 years that we have started this journey of friendship. Its 2011 December.
